The Natural History Museum of Oslo have an important role not only for being an invaluable educational platform for the general public, but also for hosting various recognized research groups devoted to the study of the Life Sciences.

Among them it is included the Frontiers in Evolutionary Zoology group, a team involved in the research of four main topics: Phylogenomics, Bioinformatics, Biodiversity, and Criptic Species.
